Since 2009, Dr. David Hammond has been dedicated to helping patients move, feel, and perform at their best as the owner of Glover Road Chiropractic. With a passion for sports injuries, soft tissue therapy, and functional movement, Dr. Hammond takes a hands-on, results-driven approach to care. Dr. Hammond is certified in Graston Technique (GT®) and trained in Active Release Techniques (ART®), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®), and RockTape applications. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he brings a strong foundation in movement and performance to his practice. He also serves on the Inquiry Committee for the College of Chiropractors of B.C., ensuring the highest standards of care in the profession.
Born in Vancouver, David grew up immersed in the active West Coast lifestyle. His own experiences with soccer and rugby injuries first introduced him to chiropractic care, sparking his passion for rehabilitation and movement science. He graduated with honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2008 and also holds an Honours Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find David spending time with his family, coaching his kids’ soccer teams, hiking, running, fishing, skiing, or even taking a cold dip in the ocean! He is a passionate supporter of Vancouver Canucks and loves being part of the local community.
